Contracts Manager - Water Hygiene

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Contracts manger responsible for managing the current water hygiene contractor and water system across the Trust.

The post holder will mainly be responsible for managing of the water hygiene contract, and will be the responsible person for water hygiene for the Southampton General Hospital and the Princess Anne Hospital as well as the Countess Mountbatten House and some other smaller sites.

The estates maintenance team at University Hospital Southampton provides, grounds, buildings, mechanical and electrical maintenance services and is currently changing to a ward and area based service in order to deliver it in a way that is customer focused, reactive and responsive.

We are looking for a customer focused, highly motivated and enthusiastic person with a sound technical knowledge of engineering and building systems and experience in the delivery of estates services in either the private or public sector.

The post holder will be required to participate in the department’s on-call rota.
